The property, of around 1.000 covered square meters, is located in the prestigious district of Rome called Coppedè, named after the famous architect of the 30's who designed it, Gino Coppedè. The Congregation of lay sisters needed to exploit the property, which was currently used only by four ladies, after being a students’ residence for many years.

A research was carried out on the property, assessing the possibility of producing income through a lease and the various possibilities of changing its intended use while carrying out the Verification of Cultural Interest pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree no. 42/2004. The Ministry of Fine Arts put a lien on the property.
 
 
 
 
Due to the expensiveness of the necessary restoration work necessary to producing an income, the Congregation decided to sell the property. An evaluation of the most probable market value was carried out. The buyer was identified in the Kingdom of Morocco, represented by its Embassy to the Italian State.

For the Embassy of Morocco, the planning of the restoration works, including typical Moroccan finishing techniques and the tender among the most accredited construction companies on the market were carried out successfully and the contract was assigned. The Direction of works was carried out with our technicians.

It is interesting to note that there were three States involved in this operation, namely Italy, the Vatican and the Kingdom of Morocco, with a high level of complexity of the documents and contracts managed in the various phases, from the purchase offer, to the preliminary offer, to the Canon Law Authorization to sell up to the Notary deed.
